Psalm 91

Psalm 91 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)

91 You can go to God Most High to hide.
You can go to God All-Powerful for protection.
I say to the Lord, “You are my place of safety, my fortress.
My God, I trust in you.”
God will save you from hidden dangers
    and from deadly diseases.
You can go to him for protection.
He will cover you like a bird spreading its wings over its babies.
You can trust him to surround and protect you like a shield.
You will have nothing to fear at night
and no need to be afraid of enemy arrows during the day.
You will have no fear of diseases that come in the dark
or terrible suffering that comes at noon.
A thousand people may fall dead at your side
or ten thousand right beside you,
but nothing bad will happen to you!
All you will have to do is watch,
and you will see that the wicked are punished.
You trust in the Lord for protection.
You have made God Most High your place of safety.
10 So nothing bad will happen to you.
No diseases will come near your home.
11 He will command his angels to protect you wherever you go.
12 Their hands will catch you
so that you will not hit your foot on a rock.
13 You will have power to trample on lions
    and poisonous snakes.
14 The Lord says, “If someone trusts me, I will save them.
I will protect my followers who call to me for help.
15 When my followers call to me, I will answer them.
I will be with them when they are in trouble.
I will rescue them and honor them.
16 I will give my followers a long life
and show them my power to save.”

The Glorious Church Arising

Praise On Fire Missions

Most of those who follow Praise On Fire Missions know that I have been saying for quite some time that the end-time revival has already begun and that it is a “Believer’s Revival”. The spiritual realm is all a-buzz with the activity and moving of the Holy Spirit. Where for years it felt as though we were sitting in a vehicle just idling, sitting still, waiting for the traffic light to change to green, now we are not only moving forward, but accelerating; picking up speed at a very rapid rate. It is a whosoever time and time to get on board

“Come Closer…” in 2017

by Pastor Jacquie Kirkwood
Well, 2016 was truly an emotional and roller coaster year for the body of Christ in America. Assaults on religious liberty in the United States reached a never-before-seen fevered pitch. In politics, the media daily heralded their assertion of an unassailable lead in the Presidential campaign for a candidate who was obviously no friend of the church. In one speech, she said that Christians were simply going to have to give up some of their hard and fast positions on social issues like abortion and homosexuality and stop being purveyors of “hate”.

Christians and Christian leaders were rightly ALARMED at the rhetoric being espoused and called for prayer and a mobilization of the church, as a unified voting block to step in and potect our future freedom to share the gospel unimpeded. The body of Christ rose up, got engaged in the battle of a looming blow against Christianity, and helped to carry the day. The lesson for the church is that we have the power of great influence on our culture for the cause of Christ and we can halt the advancement of the devil’s agenda when we arise from our complacency and slumber and ACT!

The challenge now is to not return to a posture of apathy, saying in our hearts, “okay, that’s handled now…crisis averted”, and return to our distraction driven, entertainment motivated lifestyle, and sabotage the forward progress we have fought for. We won a battle. We have not won the war.

Prophetic Revelation To Our Church

by Pastor Jacquie Kirkwood

From the time he was a young man, our pastor, Pastor Joe Kirkwood, had prophetic words spoken over him that in his service to God, he would raise up and oversee a “Joseph’s Storehouse” ministry. Much of that word has come to pass, as the Lord has given Cornerstone Outreach Center to the people of the panhandle of Texas for weekly food distribution to the needy. Our overseas work in Africa and the Philippines helps to build and undergird churches to minister to the poor that are there.

Pastor Joe ~ February 2012 Prophetic Word

Prophecy/Exhortation given by Pastors Joe & Jacquie Kirkwood

Cornerstone Worship Center – Amarillo, TX
Sunday Morning, 02.12.2012

1st: Pastor Joe:

There is something that I want to share with you that is very important. I really questioned whether I was at liberty from the Holy Spirit to share it. Since yesterday, I felt and know… I have some concern that I won’t be able to relate to you what I saw in the Spirit, and relate to you what I’m feeling. Sometimes when the Lord shows you something, it’s difficult to explain it in human words, and so, I ask that the Holy Spirit to help you to see – to know. Some of you probably were thinking just now, “What is wrong with Pastor”?  Well, my flesh is pretty well undone. In scripture, when the prophet had an encounter with God, and there was an angel came and took coal from off the altar and touched his lips, he said “Woe is me, I am undone.”
